Although Arban makes a powerful argument for Arrested Development, I have to go with Chedderfuzz on this one. Love, love, love BTVS! Seven seasons of pure magic! What always got me was how the main character could die, or get a little sister out of nowhere and yet it all seemed to be plausible by the end of the season! I don't even mind "Beer Bad" as Parker gets a lot of deserved abuse in that episode! I didn't like the ones with the kids in the hospital and the Kruger type guy - those plots with kids always creeped me out (like the episode where Amy turns in to a mouse).

I watch the full seven seasons every year, with highlights being "The Gift" (always sob at the last five minutes of that one!) and the last episode of the series as I don't think it could have been a more apt ending to the shows themes. Also love the "It's about Power" talk she gives to the council.

The dialogue is fantastic and witty, the plots are intelligent and the comedy/drama mix is always on point.

I have really enjoyed shows like Arrested Development, Extras and now Dexter (amazing how they can make a criminal be a "good guy"!), but really, BtVS has been the only TV show that has made me want to watch it all over again!

Two and a Half Men! Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer gives the best performance and not to mention that how hard it must be to film it without laughing at times. I never get sick of watching the same episodes over and over again because its a pee-your-pants-laughing show, it's almost a daily ritual of mine now. A really good way to come home from school and turn it on and laugh my troubles away. Also, it may seem weird but their brotherly relationship is somewhat similar to mine and my sister's, it's just that awesome!

Another good show is Big Bang Theory is about a group of social inept friends who are smart at everything but totally the opposite when it comes to making friends. Being a "geek" myself, I find this show hilarious and something I can relate to, minus the fact that I am socially inept. Oh, and not to mention that it's the same creators as Two and a Half Men. I highly recommend this show to everyone, and props to the best looking comic book shop featured on the show.

After thinking about it for a while. I feel the best show ever created (apart from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers) would be Arrested Development. I feel no show ever created has ever matched the wit and replayability of this show. It was comedy at it's finest point. The show's use of in-jokes and callbacks was monumental, in addition to crafting just some plain old comedy. And much like most great geniuses, it was never welcomed in its time. That being said, I know, people love to bash FOX for being quick to pull the plug on good shows and continuing bad ones, but you have to give credit that they kept that show on for 2 seasons longer than the ratings really warranted. Thanks to the magic of DVD, we can still even talk about this show, and it hasn't been lost to the abyss of canceled programming. It's tough to describe the show and lure viewers in with the premise alone, but undoubtedly, most who've seen an episode can recall the fits of laughter the show produced. It was a comedy like none other, and that's why I feel it was truly the best TV show ever created.

This is going to take a lot of composure not to become a squealing fan girl...buuuttt my vote goes to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Before all this Twilight (gag) hype came out and before vampires on television were a "new" thing Buffy and Joss Whedon did it and did it well! I love BtVS because it took the most unexpected female stereotype and made her ...well, an actual leading lady that is worth looking up to for her qualities. I also admire how Joss was able to take serious issues (love, drug addiction, teen angst, family problems ect), add an element of the supernatural and still make the issue the main focus. Anyone that has seen the episode or "Out of Mind, Out of Sight" or "Earshot" can understand what I mean. In fact, the only "bad" episode I can think of is "Beer Bad"...which from its title already shows it's not up to par with the other episodes.

Each character was fleshed out and had depth, the story line was solid, except in my opinion season 4, and each character had a purpose. Plus the story continues through the season 8 graphic novels which I believe are well written (not mention the ironic notion that the main villain is called Twilight. HA. Excellent). Alright, enough Twilight bashing... but I really do believe that BtVS was one of the top television shows that towers above all others. Plus... come on, what other television show even comes close to the witty banter and writing of Buffy? =)
