Nestled down a rare quiet street in the interior of Yorkville is the decidedly elegant Windsor Arms Hotel Afternoon Tea. Not quite the afternoon tea of British Victorian wives, The Windsor Arms has stepped into the chic elegance of Paris for their rendition of the Afternoon Tea. Of course, you will still get the dainty sandwiches, scones best served with Devonshire Cream and jam, and an array of petit fours, but the way the Windsor Arms Afternoon Tea is compiled makes a sophisticated Parisian statement all on its own.

Meet Toronto’s newest exotic Hot Spot. The Berber Lounge, located on Front Street East is a Moroccan dream that will fill your senses full of spices after a long workday or in prep for a beguiling weekend. Opening last week, I received a sneak peak at Berber prior to its official opening. What was discovered is perhaps the most inviting place to meet people and mingle in Toronto.

Nothing quite compares to Brunch in my life. Being a strong advocate of breakfast, who wouldn’t love the concept of meals between meals? Truly, snacks, afternoon tea and brunch have become some of our more treasured meals on special occasions. Perhaps one of the more scrumptious versions of brunch can be found at the King Edward Hotel. Found on King Street East in the downtown core of the Financial District, the King Edward Brunch is lavishly displayed in one of their most popular and elegant ballrooms. Stunning white filigree walls, large and bright open spaces, heavy drape curtains and pristine table settings set the stage for a Brunch that makes any occasion special.

Ever hear about those out-of-the way places, tucked into a nook of the city where the ambiance is great and the food is even better? I have just located such a gem in Toronto and it is well worth being rave-worthy.
Eight Wine Bar and Restaurant, located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel in the heart of the Financial District of downtown Toronto, does the heart good; fantastic food, fantastic service, a knowledgeable staff on wines and a cozy ambience all combine to make Eight one of the best kept secrets in Toronto.
