Kindah Mardam Bey started in the entertainment industry over ten years ago as an Assistant Buyer at the Festival du Cannes. Being educated early on in her career on the value of publicity and promotions, Mardam Bey has applied her expertise to the film, theatre, tourism and publishing industries. Earning a degree in Communications, Kindah Mardam Bey is continually inspired by the creative outlet of multi-platform communications and media. In 2006 Mardam Bey declared her own presence in the entertainment industry by launching A ‘n’ E Vibe, an online entertainment magazine that highlighted Canadian talent within an international framework. Overseeing fifty journalists who send in coverage daily across Canada, four Editors and two Managing Editors, Mardam Bey has made A ‘n’ E Vibe one of the fastest growing arts and entertainment online magazines in the country. In July 2009 she published a secondary online entertainment magazine, Press+1 (www.pressplus1.com) with the most advanced magazine layout available. Amanda Wenek has been passionate about music and pop-culture her entire life, so she always assumed she would end up working in the entertainment industry; she just didn't know in what capacity. But when Amanda took on the role of Editor-in-Chief for her university newspaper, she realized a way into the world she has forever been so fascinated by.
Having studied Communications, Emily is fascinated by the role electronic media has on the world of arts and entertainment, and is excited to participate in the growing team of Press+1 publicists. In the past she has assisted with tour booking and the planning of a Showcase of the Arts, and been associated with the Film Classification Office. 
Christine Bode has a college diploma in Television Broadcasting, and worked briefly for YTV Canada and for Canada’s leading entertainment lawyer as an administrative assistant. She has spent years promoting actors, authors and musicians that she believes in.
