Description

Photos by Ben Tsui. Press+1 was there at the annual ArtaWEARness XII fashion and performance arts extravaganza. It featured the multidisciplinary talent of student artists from the Alberta College of Art + Design college in Calgary. This year's 4 sold out showcases were held on Feb. 10 and 11, 2012 at the SAIT Polytechnic's Orpheus Theatre. It was an array of colorful, whimsical but ecclectic fashion designs, performance pieces and artistic passion that challenged the traditional definition of mainstream haute couture by using found objects, fabrics and materials.
