Trews Screen Shot 1

Lead singer Colin MacDonald of The Trews recently sat down for a fun interview with Press+1 while they tour across Canada and told us about that night they partied with Axl Rose and Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys, AND what it takes to make it in Australia....

The Trews have been lighting up the Canadian rock scene for over 10 years, after winning Rock Search, out of CHTZ-FM in St. Catharine's, Ontario in 2002 and following it up with the immediate success of House of Ill Fame, their first full-length album in 2003. Since then, they have garnered multiple East Coast Music Award wins (4) and Juno Award nominations (5) and have gone on to expand their fan base through successful touring efforts in the US, the UK and Australia.

Along the way, they have also released 3 more full-length albums and 2 EPs, including Thank You and I'm Sorry, which is still hot from the press after being introduced on November 6th, 2012. The fact of the matter is ... the Trews are pretty busy! So, we were pretty thankful to have Colin MacDonald, lead singer and guitarist for The Trews, all to ourselves for a few minutes as he sat down with Dug Stevenson from Press+1 for a chat ahead of their recent show at the Empire Theatre, in Belleville, Ontario.
