Vancouver's own 21 Tandem Repeats have pretty much everything you could want in a Canadian band. Awesome rock n' roll pseudonyms? Check.

A song about hockey? Check.

A weekly gig at one of Vancouver's premier music venues? Check.

No Junk Mail Please is the third full length album from Super Robertson, Alec 'Willingdon Black' Macaulay, Chris 'Two Stick' Hobbs and Alvaro “Snow leopard” Rojas- collectively known as 21 Tandem Repeats. Reminiscent of the Tragically Hip and their down-home Canadian Folk Rock, No Junk Mail Please showcases some great songwriting, striking melodies and simple country rhythms.

Some highlights from the album include the beautiful, lilting 'Pebbles' with guest vocalist Becky Till and 'Disappear' an ode to the sun going down across the country. It’s the kind of album you want to listen to on your back porch with a beer in your hand. Or, you can listen to it while you reminisce about the times when it was warm enough to sit on your back porch with a beer in your hand.

If you're in the Vancouver area  from 7:30 to 8:30pm on a Wednesday night you can check them out at The Railway Club (downtown at the corner of Dunsmuir and Seymour).  There is also video footage of some past performances on their website, www.21tr.ca.
