Young and old will delight in a fun, dance and music filled production of Hello, Dolly! running from April 12-28 in the 24th season for Royal City Musical Theatre at the Massey Theatre . Tickets start at $20 and are available from masseytheatre.com or call 604521-5050

First produced on Broadway in 1964 by David Merrick, the Tony award winning musical became the longest running musical for its time and has had many revivals in many languages around the world and won numerous Tony and Drama Desk Awards and more. RCMT's production will light up your night and have you singing and dancing long after you have left the theatre

 Hello, Dolly! is the story of a turn-of-the-century widowed matchmaker Dolly Gallagher Levi, who after cunningly negotiating marriages for others through a series comic and romantic entanglements, ultimately finds her own match.

Adapted from Thornton Wilder's The Matchmaker, Hello, Dolly! was a hit with musical score by Jerry Herman and book by Michael Stewart. The show has many memorable musical numbers including Put on Your Sunday Clothes, Elegance, Hello, Dolly! and The Waiters Gallop.

Royal City Musical Theatre's production stars Colleen Winton as Dolly Levi, David Adams as Horace Vandergelder

The production is directed and choreographed by Valerie Easton with James Bryson as Musical Director
