For fans of the first film, this is worth watching, but I advise keeping your expectations rather low.

Having really enjoyed The Hangover, I was hoping that this sequel would deliver another unexpectedly hilarious adventure story full of original jokes and funny events. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its predecessor and was a disappointment in many ways. The story is essentially the same, with a new location and some details substituted and new characters added, but it is far from original as they re-used some of their jokes from the first film. There are still some good laughs to be had in this sequel, but far fewer, and the unrealistic ending unravels its credibility.

Kung Fu Panda 2 kicks the bar even higher than the first instalment with more action, more characters, and more heart.
In this sequel to the 2008 hit, Po (Jack Black) returns as the better-skilled, but still-bumbling Dragon Warrior whose role in life is to protect the Valley of Peace alongside the Furious Five—Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Monkey (Jackie Chan), Mantis (Seth Rogan), Viper (Lucy Liu), and Crane (David Cross). All seems well in Po's perfect life until an incident triggers a memory that causes him to question who he is, and where he came from. Although encouraged by his mentor, Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman), to eliminate his confusion by finding his inner peace, Po soon finds himself battling another problem, a cunning and powerful peacock named Lord Shen (Gary Oldman) who threatens to take over China using an unstoppable weapon, and—to Po's dismay—destroy kung fu.

Point Blank is an energetic, kinetic film. The characters run and we run with them. While it gets a bit silly at times, we suspend our belief as a sacrifice to the pace and style of the film.

Communication is lost in translation. Language is a universal connector yet it divides us so very quickly. The attitude of "I don’t understand what you are saying so I choose not to associate with you." seems too prevalent in this world. It too often creates fissures amongst people, cultures, and countries. Yet language is not politics or religion. Language is not a tool of division, yet we let it. Film is language. It is an expression of people, culture, and countries. Understanding how certain people approach film lends us to understand them. Film can be a connector.
Point Blank is the rapid-fire story of ransom and intrigue. The film starts at a breakneck pace, a chase sequence involving a dangerous looking fellow being pursued by two dangerous looking fellows. The law of film says that when suspicious people chase each other, a conspiracy is at work. When the chasee is hit by a car and taken to the hospital, things get interesting. We then meet Samuel and his sexy, pregnant wife. They are an idealistic couple — young, happy, good-looking. When the aforementioned dangerous-looking guys try to whack the aforementioned car accident victim, Samuel steps in and saves the man’s life. His wife is captured and he is order to get the man out or his wife dies.
