"Alice in Wonderland" Hits $210 Million on Opening Weekend

The newest Tim Burton 3-D film, starring Johnny Depp, earned 116.3 million this weekend in Canada and the United States. The remaining 94 million was brought in internationally. The blockbuster also beat the IMAX opening day record, surpassing "Avatar" at 9.5 million. In addition to Depp, the film also stars Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, and Mia Wasikowska.
Conan O'Brien Entertains Using Twitter

Since his show was cancelled, Conan O'Brien has created a Twitter account and has been coming up with some hilarious lines. The former late night show host's first Tweet was, "Today I interviewed a squirrel in my backyard and then threw to commercial. Somebody help me." He now has over 560,000 followers, and is only following one random person named Sarah because "she likes peanut butter and gummy dinosaurs." Conan is rumored to be planning a tour that will begin this spring.
"The Bachelor" Stars Jason and Molly Wed

The former Bachelor, who caused a stir when he changed his mind from Melissa to Molly, got married last week. The pair was reportedly offered $100,000 each, in addition to all their expenses taken care of by ABC, for permission to film the wedding and air it on the network. Molly wore a $45,000 Monique Lhuillier gown, and the couple will be honeymooning in South America. The wedding will air on television on Monday.

Kathy Griffin versus Sarah Palin
Kathy Griffin teamed up with Palin's rival, Levi Johnston, who is the father of Palin's grandchild. Grifffin left a note, which invited Palin to a concert, on her doorstep. Palin did not attend, but Griffin went with Johnston and asked the audience to ID anyone in the crowd doing "a pageant wave."

Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan
There has been recent speculation about the relationship between Jessica Simpson and the Smashing Pumpkins' lead singer, Billy Corgan. The pair has been working together in the music studio, collaborating on a theme song for Jessica Simpsoon's new reality television show. In a current Rolling Stone interview Corgan states, "My goal in life is to love whoever I think is worth loving, and I think if people knew her like I knew her, they would love her like I do. It’s really simple."
