Title: Wisdom Of The Hidden Realms Author: Colette Baron Reid Publisher: Hay House ISBN: 978-1-4019-2342-6
Reviewed By: Beverley Ann (www.beverleyann.ca) From the Canadian contingent of the Hay House family, Colette Baron Reid has started to build her presence on the spiritual scene. Her second collection of Oracle Cards, a 44-Card deck and guide book called “Wisdom of the Hidden Realms” is a stunning new edition towards establishing Baron Reid’s presence in the Spiritual community. Beautifully illustrated by Northern Californian artist Jena DellaGrottaglia (www.autumnsgoddess.deviantart.com), the cards are visually inspiring and truly an elegant and stunning collection that looks as if it borders between this world and the realm of mysticism. The box set describes the cards, saying “Imagine! Before the written word, the ancients established a Divine Hidden Realm that bridges the worlds of nature and spirit.” Wisdom Of The Hidden Realms does not follow a standard tarot deck format with major and minor arcane, but with simply numbered cards with delightful new representatives on each card such as “The Chess Queen,” “The Winged Wise Ones,” and “The Arrow Master.” What is particularly unique about Colette Baron Reid’s oracle cards is that she is an especially prolific writer and each card has information on it in the guide book that seems to pierce to the heart of any information the card is telling you and how that is affecting your present circumstance. I have reviewed Colette Baron Reid’s previous Oracle cards “Wisdom Of Avalon” and continually find myself referencing that deck for its insightful reflections. Baron Reid’s oracle cards, and especially Wisdom Of The Hidden Realms, seems to have a balance between ancient wisdom and youthful energy. Even my grown daughter enjoys Baron Reid’s oracle cards in particular, garnering much useful information from the guide book. Colette Baron Reid seems to have out done herself again. She has made a stunning collection that will provide any one who purchases the collection the benefit of her wisdom.
